Pastoral Care Team
There is a core team of five people co-ordinated by Sandie Osborne who then facilitate larger teams of visitors.
We have visiting teams for; Baptisms, Wedding preparation, and the sick or housebound where if requested we will take home communion.
We are developing two Welcome teams, one for each church, and will shortly be undertaking some training in visiting the bereaved, so that we can support clergy with pre and post funeral visits and offer support to families during this difficult time.
The pastoral care team is also involved in all aspects of the spiritual care of our churches, helping to facilitate prayer meetings, house groups, and special services like the All Soul's service.
The core team meets regularly to pray and discern how we may best serve our community and we ourselves are supported and supervised by our clergy.
